実測家、建築家・工学博士

バルセロナに住みながらガウディ建築物の実測とその図面化を行う。特にサグラダファミリアの実測図 (1/50 の断面アイソメ図)には5年、グエル公園の全体立面図には8年の年月を要した。実測の過程で、ガウディ建築に込められたデザイン・構造・神話、さらに地域性やアイデンティティを縦横に読み解いていく。その他、研究を生かして1998年からユネスコ・フォーラムの招請を受けてベラクルスのサン・ホワン・デ・ウルワ城塞修復計画ワークショップをする。以来、全国において、ガウディ、実測、 歴史、コード、作図についての説明を60回以上の展示会・講演会、まちづくりワークショップ活動と共に進めて現在に至る。特にガウディの煉瓦構造とその素材を生かした応用として北海道江別市のモニュメントBT1をはじめとして、ガウディの生誕の町リウドムスでのアルブレ広場では日本とスペインの特性を生かした改修計画、ガウディのデザイン手法を生かした東京都府中市の北山幼稚園のデザイン・設計施工を手がけた。2015年にはバルセロナ建築士会での田中裕也の作図展やサロンデマンガの作図展、続いて2016年には、初めて銀座の渋谷画廊にてガウディ建築の作図展を行った。
